After scouring the internet and looking through a range of weight loss programs, I stumbled upon the Cheat Your Way Thin program. What caught my eye, was the claims that you still get to eat all the great foods (perhaps the ones that got me into this overweight situation in the first place!) and still lose weight quickly. Intrigued, I decided to give it a shot. Eliminating excess fat while eating what you like? Was there a trick?
I know lots of people would agree that diets are difficult because you have to give up eating the stuff you like. Everyone would like to succeed, but staying off your food staples can be too challenging. At times we just stray thinking we’ll just have a little bit, but that bit usually leads us to abandon the diet. So I thought something less restrictive which is also effective at the same time would be the ideal solution for me!

The Cheat Your Way Thin theory had me very skeptical at first. Who can believe that you can actually reduce fat while having aliments like doughnuts, bacon or fries? It sounds simply unbelievable! As I advanced in my research about it, however, it all started to get connected.
When you disallow all the foods that you currently really enjoy, you crave it even more and you end up just caving in after a while. Thus, making a little “cheating” legitimate is what will actually keep you on track in this case.
When considered more closely, the principle behind this program is very logical. With a lesser amount of calorie input, our bodies tend to get into a starvation mode, which means that they’ll attempt to burn as little fat as possible. When ‘cheating’ however, the body increases its metabolism through the extra calories from the ‘cheat’ food, thereby burning more fat.
However, let’s not overreact. The Cheat Your Way Thin diet does not encourage eating non nutritious foods all the time. Instead, you are on a rigid routine of low-cal foods and plenty of exercise, which is followed by exceptional days when you’re encouraged to eat according to your cravings.
More specifically, the diet works as follows:
First 48 hours: Have very few carbohydrates
Two Days: Low GI meals
Two Days: High GI meals
1 treat day: Have what you want.
The diet is actually well planned and you will find the body actually gets what it requires in a more efficient way and best of all, you don’t have to starve yourself too.

The program comes with a manual that goes into a lot more detail on how the theory works, as well as some really handy tips and hints to help you achieve your goal. It also contains a progress chart and various easy meal preparations for every day. Best of all, it teaches you about the appropriate aliments that will trigger more effective weight reduction and which specific carbs help you do that.
The program illustrates to you how to arrange your meals more effectively so that your metabolism can increase by around 20%. This off course means that, even if you eat more, you will burn more fat! The book taught me the type and quantity of cardio I had to do in conjunction with the nutritional program, as well as when it is best done to ensure you maximize your results by 200 percent. It’s awesome!
All that aside though, the most important thing is that the Cheat Your Way thin program really does work. I ate good sized meals and never found myself hungry at any point. Because of the days when I could have my favorite foods I never had the temptation to go off the program. That’s so amazing, I even lost track of the fact that I had embarked on a slimming quest!
This routine is well described so there’ll be no doubt as to how to proceed. It comes with very clear directions as to what you need to do on a daily basis, enabling you to always be ready for what’s next. The diagram is a very effective tool in keeping track of your progress. I highly recommend this program especially if you are similar to me in that you find it hard to resist those mischievous ‘treats’ that you crave for. For one thing, it’s an original concept, but in the end… You’ll get your results!
